So I was hired as an intern for the Happy New Year 2024 Chinese New Year 2024 Year of the Dragon T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this duration of summer. It’s been two weeks, and my boss just called me and told me I was being let go. The reasons were that I was slow and they did not have enough capacity to train me. From what I’ve read online, I thought internships were an opportunity too learn. to give context, I am a sophmore in college (reflected on my resume), and I told the recruiter during my interview that I was unfamiliar with the coding language they used. I geniunly don’t know where to go from now, and what to do with my summer. Please give advice. edit: people are saying there is something missing from the story. I am telling this verbatim. I asked for feedback during my termination call, and they told me they expected me to implement this feature within a day like one of their other employees would have done. (edit: removed stuff to make it less easier to identify me)

edit: I undertsand why people are saying this is a shit post but this is my real life. I was depending on the Happy New Year 2024 Chinese New Year 2024 Year of the Dragon T-Shirt Additionally,I will love this pay from this internship for tuiton money. the contract they gave me was as a “contractor”, and when I accepeted it I had a bad feeling because it says on their they can terminate our relationship at any point. I put trust, and I didn’t realize that meant they could fire me at any will.OP, if it’s any consolation, this place taught you something. It taught what red flags look like from a company. Think about all the things you saw before accepting the internship, and during the job, be wary of companies like this moving forward. small companies like this dont hire interns. they want cheap developers. they are not interested in teaching. they just want work done on the cheap.
