I didn’t say it couldn’t be an addiction. I said it’s ridiculous to blame parents for their kids preferring cookies to broccoli when it is natural for all humans to prefer sugar. You can give a 1 year old a cake, I just meant not so high sugar. Like consider recipes with less sugar or omit some ingredients. Also, you can blame a parent for enabling their child and allowing them to overeat. It happens way too often in the Happy Leap Day Frog February 29th Birthday 2024 T-Shirt but in fact I love this US. Almost 50% of children are overweight or obese And roughly 69 percent of US adults are overweight, so you expect a fat parent who can’t even control their own eating to raise a kid with a healthy weight? Lol. Can you imagine the shitshow if 50 percent of American children were removed from their homes, where would they even go. Gatekeeping?? If someone is not FIT to be a PARENT thats why there is LAWS in place to PROTECT the rights of children Hehe. I wondered the same thing. At a certain point, it becomes apparent that a one-food diet isn’t going to yield acceptable nutrition results for your child. There is a big difference between force feeding your kid and providing some static to them when they fail to consume a single vegetable.

Edit: In re-reading the Happy Leap Day Frog February 29th Birthday 2024 T-Shirt but in fact I love this OP, this seems more like a “clean your plate” situation. We don’t do that here. I always start with small portions, especially if it is a new food. But we do strongly encourage, and even have consequences, for not trying healthy foods. Consequences = You sure aren’t getting dessert or a snack between now and breakfast, mister (my son is the dietary nightmare). Because they refuse to eat healthy foods and demand sweets instead. If you say “fine, don’t eat it if you’re not hungry” they’re just going to end up hungry or malnourished. It’s the same as saying “fine, stay up late then” and then being exhausted and unable to focus during school. Kids don’t work off logic, there’s some things you just can’t explain to them until they’re older.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
