“What is the Happy First Day Let’s Do This Crayons Welcome Back To School T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this point of society?” is a pretty heavy question, but it’s going to be in the ballpark of: “The point of society is to better society.” And if we agree on that, then it becomes obvious that the most prestigious, most elite and most difficult job a person could have, one that only the top 5% could even think about getting, and for which education would be intense and selection merciless, is the job of teacher. Which would, in turn, be one of the best paid. Retail. I worked it. We do hostage negotiation and special needs education (both due to how stupid you customers are) simultaneously while also doing our actual job of like stocking or cashiering. Janitorial, fast food, customer service, cashiering, manual labor… Basically any job where you’re working pretty much the whole time. It’s too much work for less pay. A typical office job is 2 hours of actual work spread over an 8 hour day. In IT I got so bored waiting for tickets I started helping the janitors sweep and carry shit. Let’s just say I wouldn’t take a 100% payraise if I had to be a full time janitor, and most people who even make $100k wouldn’t do it either. I wouldn’t work at McDonalds for $100k. So why do we pay them so little?

Servers. Just make it minimum wage with no tips expected or required. It is rediculous to pay ANYONE 2.15 and hour. While they usually get paid really well, it’s not what they deserve. For the Happy First Day Let’s Do This Crayons Welcome Back To School T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this amount of production they bring to the table, should be getting a bigger slice of the pie. I think a lot of jobs are under paid. From personal experience, structural engineers. All the responsibility of a building comes down, and the poor pay isn’t encouraging the best and brightest to stay in the field, which for something that could cause a lot of deaths if done wrong is quite alarming. EVERYONE in special ed classrooms. Teachers & paras. None of them get paid anywhere near enough, especially considering the job can be legitimately physically dangerous on top of being super draining emotionally & physically.
