Maybe it’s my Perfectionism. Maybe it’s because my parents do that a lot to me. They always compare to others. Being at home makes it worse. The job market is a absolute shit right now. Do not blame yourself. People with like 10+ experience all around the Happy Columbus Day 1492 Ship Heart American Flag T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this world are struggling to get a job. Don’t feel ashamed. Keep on applying. cant comment on job trails, but your biggest thing holding back in your life is comparisons with those who you know and are better than you. Stop doing that, let them live their life and you live on your terms. Think of it like this, there are a billion people out there, then why do you get stuck with the few classmates about whose lives you knew only a part of and want to emulate that. Only thing you want to do with them is networking at best. If they aren’t in a position to help your job search then no need to keep track of how well they are doing better than you if all you are going to do is feel jealous/FOMO and try to emulate that. And in trying to copying them you are letting go of every rational thinking. sensible thing to do befire making a career switch, if you have no backup at home, is to try learning it while doing the job but you resigned w/o thinking about the next steps. And no also you are looking at how well others are doing. Almost as if, you would have been happy at your previous job if your frnds werent earning as much (even though your own salary gave a comfortable life and you could have worked at your pace to gain more)

Went for the UPSC way…3 attempts not cleared…now exploring the other possibilities as backup…Law maybe. But I feel content within myself… there are no regrets…one day I will so called ‘succeed ‘. I don’t care if others are earning freakin crores…never mattered to me. I am also a biotech grad and currently searching for jobs but there are none. Went for government jobs but the competition is too much now I am stuck in middle of what it seems nothing; with no job and too much depression.
