I hate curved phone screens. Dumbest fucking idea. It’s an easy failure point for cracks and break to form, prone to accidentally touching it, makes good screen protectors difficult to find and fit, makes cases less effective. Current phones aren’t built that fragile, there is just limits to how sturdy it can be made. Look at how sturdy work phones are built. They have smaller screens and extra padding around, kinda like a case. If that’s what you want, buy that. Most people don’t, nor need it. Samsung used to have just that the s7 active was amazing. I beat the shit out of mine and what finally killed it was the battery going out. It had a great battery life for the time, was tough as hell and I had that fucker all the way up until last year. The Energizer Power Max is somehow not the most popular phone on reddit. I get 2 days on my 13 pro max with normal usage. Absolutely fantastic. Even my 11 pro max after 2 years still had 98% battery life and would last almost a day and a half.
