Doesn’t this “force” all the Halloween Disney Walt Disney World Winnie The Pooh Shirt Besides,I will do this states surrounding TN to do the same out of fear of mass exodus of homeless people fleeing prison sentences? Fwiw, idk what the for profit prison situation and being homeless situation is like in the surrounding states so maybe doesn’t apply at all. Jail. They want them in jail so to make money off of them. It’s all about the money and jails / prisons is one of the biggest money making machines in the country Not for nothing but wouldn’t it be better to have them on public land instead of on the sidewalk outside your house or on the street under a bridge? EDIT: Also, FFS a felony? JFC, talk about vindictive and cruel. It’s punishable by up to 6 years in prison and with a felony you lose your right to vote. I’m ok with this as long as an alternative is provided. Why not use some of that govt owned land to setup some pod style accommodation? You could even have the pods automatically lock themselves between certain time periods to ensure that they’re only used at night for sleeping and no more. For sanitation, make them self cleaning similar to the way existing self cleaning public toilets work. Now you’ve got an automated system that provides somewhere safe/warm to sleep, that requires little to no maintenance, and keeps homeless people out of your parks, private property etc. Not gonna lie. I’ve always thought the USA was fucked but learning a few weeks ago that it’s actually illegal to be homeless in a lot of states just made my head hurt.

well SupCo already settled this and said it doesnt matter what they write in their little books, if the Halloween Disney Walt Disney World Winnie The Pooh Shirt Besides,I will do this muni doesnt have an open room for every individual every night, then they cant punish people for being homeless. its not a crime to be homeless. and keeping an open room for everyone is essentially logistically impossible so that kinda settles it; they’d have to prove in court they had a room for literally every homeless person in town at any particular time. good luck proving that in court, knowing where every homeless person in town is every day so you can count how many. if you have a homeless issue in your city and they keep being forced off plots but coming back, this why. munis keep making up new tricks regulations to push them off, they get taken to court by usually by some tired-looking ACLU lawyer and forced to allow them back, and they come right back in.
