Holding on to friends just because you’ve been friends for so long. I can’t believe how some of my friends deal with the Grinch Hat Santa and Dog Rugby Helmet Washington Huskies Logo Merry Christmas Shirt What’s more,I will buy this ones that they seem to have grown out of (and complain about every time I see them). But ya know “we’ve been friends since 7th grade! BFFs 4 Life!”. Yuck. Let the leaf fall already. 460 more repliesWhen people are uptight/anal about others who are late, because they think their time is so valuable, they can’t stand to wait 5 or 10 minutes to see someone. Life is too short to be that rigid and inflexible with your time and your relationships. I need someone who goes with the flow, who can adapt to things beyond their control, who doesn’t get frustrated by trivial first world problems, who has traveled enough & had enough serious life experiences to understand that waiting 10 minutes is not something to stress out about and end friendships over. I would rather meet up with someone tonight who’s 30 minutes “late” than not see them again for 5 years. The fact that we’re even in the same country/city at the same time, both alive and healthy, is more important to me.

This is oddly specific. I mean I hate waiting for people. It’s rude to make someone feel wait for you but I certainly wouldn’t end a friendship over it! There’s a difference in being late sometimes vs all the Grinch Hat Santa and Dog Rugby Helmet Washington Huskies Logo Merry Christmas Shirt What’s more,I will buy this time. Being late every single time, especially when you know the other person values punctuality is just plain disrespectful. Someone who is chronically late might be neurodivergent or struggling with time blindness. I have spent the greater part of my life trying so desperately hard to be on time that now I am 15 minutes early for everything, and people also get annoyed by that. There’s no winning. The effort I have to put into being on time is significantly greater than most people. I don’t trust anybody who is ambidextrous. Those fuckers freak me out, and a lot of times they’re bad people too obviously.
