Yeah, well, Mark Zuckerberg is a millennial, along with countless other billionaires and 9 digit millionaires. When you throw them in the Greetings from Fresno Ca old Guys Rule 41 shirt also I will do this mix it really muddies the waters. Yet here is my zoomer lookin’ ass with a couple grand that I’ve been squirreling away preparing for the hammer to come down when I’ve gotta start paying my loans back. Everyone here knows student loans are predatory, and most media outlets are demonizing any help to educated workers. We may have degrees but we’re getting paid shit wages. Hell, it took me 7 months after graduating with my MA just to land a job… But “nOboDy WaNTs tO WOrK” is all we hear. Honestly $128k net worth is hardly nothing at all. I know this is supposed to be some sort of ‘gotcha’ rage bait article for boomers, but that number still seems extremely low for a millennial. Inflation and COL have both sky rocketed in the last few years. $100k today is not the same as it was 10 years ago. But our perception of that amount hasn’t caught up to match reality.

I’m also a millennial but have negative net worth who needs student loan forgiveness. Why won’t they write a story about me? I’d be happy to share my story Seriously email that fucking joker and tell him to use median instead of average, like someone who has been given journalistic authority SHOULD Media: “Millenials aren’t having kids and have no savings” Also media: “Millenials making bank and have kids but are still bitching about money” Which is it? I am a parent, that is true. But I also have a negative net worth and live in my parents’ basement (though we do have a cool setup; my sister and her husband and 2 kids are on the Greetings from Fresno Ca old Guys Rule 41 shirt also I will do this 2nd floor, our parents are on the main floor, and we’re in the basement)
