Media: Young people can’t afford houses because they waste too much money earing out and doing frivolous things. Also the Green Bay Packers it’s in my DNA shirt but in fact I love this media: Young people are hurting everyone by not spending more money on eating out and on other frivolous things!! Aw bless, are the bigoted boomers upset because we don’t want to support their hot tub furnishing pension pots anymore? Aw. The ones i know of that age speaks shit about everyone at their backs at work making the coworkers be one against eachother… “God damnit Smith, they’re all raging about Reagan again. Quick! Tell the news to blame it on the millennials again!” In the industry I work, companies have taken to only hiring on 3, 6, 12, and 18 month contracts. This is for Geoscientists/Engineers in Training (GIT/EIT), even if you have 5+ years of experience. I’d prefer a permanent job, but ya, I’ve been job hopping (6 different jobs) since I got my MSc 5 years ago, and only 2 of those changes were by choice. Meanwhile the older generations of geologists and engineers have been able to stay with a company for a decade or more because when they were looking for work, companies would just offer permanent work from the get-go. Now they’re sitting comfortably with a nice matched RSP, loads of accumulated vacation, etc…

The younger generations have been treated very differently. These criticisms talk as if the Green Bay Packers it’s in my DNA shirt but in fact I love this job market hasn’t changed at all over the past decades… So out of touch. Wow, at the time in their lives where they are just starting out as adults, looking for their place in the world, and probably getting or finishing higher education they switch jobs a ton. Weird. How can a 24 year old have been in a job for a decade? The chart is garbage without even debating any of the points

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
