She’s showing you who she is, believe her Gotham 5th anniversary 2004-2019 signature thank you for the memories shirt and either set very strong boundaries and sticks to them or goes no contact. She also said that your baby is not your baby, that to me is another huge red flag. She’s already disassociating you from the child and she might be trying to see your baby as a do-over baby. She sounds way too far gone for any type of help. I agree with all of this. DH doesn’t want her toxic behavior around LO at all, I was the one who said just every now and again she could visit her. But I’m starting to rethink that. I fully believe she is trying to use LO as a do-over, and she’s not even here yet! She is pretty far gone.

The language she used sounds like Gotham 5th anniversary 2004-2019 signature thank you for the memories shirt she wants your baby. Be careful. Do not leave LO alone with her in any context, even to use the bathroom. She isn’t mentally healthy and you need to keep that in mind. I would tell her that boundaries are for everyone and she doesn’t want to follow them then it’s time out for her for a few weeks. Then NC for two weeks and then check up on her. She breaks the TO, two weeks starts over. If she is still behaving the same way, another longer TO.
