I’ve not only seen an increase in SUV ad’s, but also seen an increase in the Got my head above the clouds shirt and I will buy this number of SUV’s I see everywhere. Why are people buying such large vehicles? We barely have much space to turn the vehicles. There’s so much traffic already. An army general I know, despite his high ranking, purchased a small car. Are normal people buying SUV’s as a fashion, or to boost ego or because those SUV’s actually provide some better benefits than the smaller cars? If I had to buy a car, I’d….no wait…I won’t even buy a car as long as I’m in Bangalore. I hate riding my bike itself in this traffic and roadhumps and potholes. If I was in a different city, I’d choose a smaller car with fully automatic transmission. To me, it’d make a lot more sense to spend that much for the automatic transmission than for a larger vehicle. Why are Indians having children despite being one of the highest populous countries in the world contributing to literally every problem that we face, including the said massive traffic? South India, other than Karnataka, already have a huge issue with population collapse that’s quite imminent. Northern backwards states still can’t get their stuff together.

U.P drafted a law few years back, that disqualifies memebers of a family from any kind of government job or benifits if they have more than 2 kids. Yeah this is true. UP alone has more people than Russia, largest nation on earth with 7 time zones. Don’t even get me started on the Got my head above the clouds shirt and I will buy this quality and lack of social skills of this population lol. Overpopulation is closely related to poverty and illiteracy all over the world. India’s fertility is going down and is below 2. Which means more people are dying than being born. Which means when we get old, there will be fewer people paying tax. Which means, shitty healthcare and other public services. Yes and once it becomes that bad, people might start having families again. It is a cycle really. The fact is that the resources for survival are limited and the demand for them is much more.
