Did you look at the Goodfellas bill cowher mike tomlin chuck noll shirt in addition I really love this album? Which of these looks are worn by duggar girls? They’re all very modern silhouettes or show a lot of skin. The skirts are low rise and/or have huge slits. Some are tight on the butt. Some are worn with crop tops or platforms or cleavage. The outfits are clearly modern/fashionable and something religious cults avoid at all cost. I did look at the album, and just to be clear, I’m not suggesting anyone shouldn’t wear them, or that the girls in the album look like “Duggar girls!” I just meant that for me, where I live, that’s what they’re generally associated with, so I’d prefer not to wear them myself. First it was cottage core, now it’s long denim skirts. If they try to start making us wear bonnets next, I might have a panic attack. Obviously, this is nothing against people who like these styles. Not in the slightest. But I am personally very uncomfortable with mainstream fashion being inspired by the dress of religious fundamentalists. Edit: I am taking part in a discussion. That used to be what Reddit was for. I won’t miss it come July 1 when they cut off all the apps and users quit in droves. Cottagecore and long denim skirts are inspired by late 60s and early 70s hippies, rehashed in the early 2000s and now being reinterpreted in context of Y2K and early 2000s trends being rediscovered and remixed by GenZ. These designers are often not even American, so I doubt they are caring much about or being inspired by American fundamentalist religion, much like the oversized minimal sack dress aesthetic popular with sustainable brands is not inspired by other religions fundamentalist looks.

Yay! Love a denim skirt. It’s like jeans with a twist. I’ve got the Goodfellas bill cowher mike tomlin chuck noll shirt in addition I really love this idea of a white maxi one for fall and winter in the back of my mind. You may have inspired me to look for a charcoal or white/cream denim midi skirt! Those were my favorites (also #13). I like the idea of wearing jeans that are possibly less restrictive and a little more “elevated”. I kinda wrote them off for my personal wardrobe because I thought they wouldn’t work for me (short woman with short legs). Looking at this album though, seems like a high waisted midi with a front slit could look great!
