In the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this immediate vicinity of my place are two churches and one hospital; it’s right downtown, so I didn’t really think ahead on that one. I have a quiet bicycle, and a mattock that’s the right size for me but I don’t think my odds are that great. Reminds me I really gotta put together a go-bag. Physically? Not ideal honestly. Fitness is okayish, but there are just so many small things i keep pushing off in terms of health. Also, i had kidney stones last year and if that happens again without strong painkillers and a medical professional around to remove them, I’m biting a bullet, that shit was awful. Equipment vise? I guess. I’ve got some food, i grow some myself already and could expand on that, i have a reasonably safe watersource that doesn’t rely on electricity, i have ammunition and some medical gear. Sure, not ideal, id not be able to uphold a comfy living style particularly long, but i don’t think my family or i would starve without the next two years. Mentally? No. Sure, a lot of my current issues that weigh on me pretty bad right now would literally disappear, but also a lot of the things i like. Music and movies would be a big one. That’s actually one of the reasons i still occasionally buy cds and dvds, but those would still require a solid source of electricity and i just don’t have one with that capacity. And sure, momentarily those may be tiny issues, but over time they would take a massive bite out of morale. I’m also very not ready to loose my loved ones. That’s honestly the main issue here. I really, really love my family
Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt: Unleash Your Dinosaur Style
I’m setting up shop on my lawn. Front yard, out in the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this open. Going to drink, let my dog bite people, then get eaten by the zombies. I wish it happens with economic crisis qnd housing prices. I wish some zombie bite me and I Wouldn’t have to work anymore Fuck yeah! The last pandemic wasn’t what I had in mind.I WILL die in the first half,no lie but idc let’s go out in style instead of 30 years down the road with no teeth. Quite ready… to see if the military can handle it. If not then I’m grabbing the strongest sleeping pills, and saying my goodbyes. Just found out a lot of billionaires have their bunkers in New Zealand so I’m liking my chances of getting to one before they can get here. Having lived in the UK for 40 years I’m probably zombie ready, but I can’t be bothered anymore. Perhaps being zombified would mean less meaningless chat about the weather on a daily basis. Logistically and skills based? Yes. I am ready for surviving in place. I am not ready for cardio, I would die in minutes. 360 more repliesThe thing is, if you implemented this policy as a request you might actually have positive results. Trying to enforce it as a mandate is stupid, counterproductive, and in most places if not all, illegal.
If you stay long enough you’ll make money. See I started out mopping floors. But now, I’m washing lettuce. Soon I’ll be on fries then the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this grill. In a year or two, I’ll make assistant manager and that’s when the big bucks start rolling in. People are taking this sign way too seriously. Of course you can quit. The purpose is to try conflict resolution rather than giving in to whims because of a potentially frustrating one-off experience. Besides 90% of the time those “conflict resolutions” are them calming you down to keep you working another two weeks while they hire a replacement then let you go. That’s not how it’s phrased though, it says “it is the policy of this restaurant that employees cannot quit”. That’s not phrased as conflict resolution, it reads more like an order.

Cyberpunk expectations: you cannot quit working for evil megacorporation which produces weapons, combat AIs and biotech. Cyberpunk in reality you cannot quit working for evil megacorporation which is just public toilet. As soon as someone tries to prevent you from walking out, then congratulations. You can now press charges for kidnapping/false imprisonment. There is a simple but effective power that works in damn near any situation and anyone can try it out – just leaving That’s not even legal. What is this, indentured servitude? I would love the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this legal eagles of Reddit to have a look at this sign and list for us how many labor laws this violates. No, better yet, if you quit or are terminated, you must pay a $10,000 severance fee. You will be working with zero salary until that fee is paid.
I mean, I have already seen job postings with “reverse paid internships” and employers demanding for salary to be paid back. This is pretty tame compared to those. My first thought when seeing this sign is to burn down the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this restaurant. Then, when they tell me I have no job (because the restaurant burned down) I’ll remind them that they aren’t allowed to quit anymore than I was and I’ll expect my paycheque at the usual time and date. To be devil’s advocate, I can understand wanting to talk to someone and seeing if a solution can be made instead of quitting. But to tell them they aren’t allowed to quit is actual McBullshit, they have every right to quit as much as they have every right to find a better job Exit interviews are a thing in many places. They are a voluntary thing though. You can’t force someone to keep working until you have had a satisfactory talk with them.
So McDonald’s now thinks they own your physical form. This sign alone would make me quit. They need to adjust their attitude and respect/ value their employees. Wish everyone could afford to leave. When are the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this going to open up a company store where you’re indebted to them just like the old coal mine. Honestly, the intent of this is genuinely positive. It’s saying if you have a problem let’s see if we can resolve it. I mean. This is just asking that people try to work with management to resolve issues. They aren’t actually banning quitting but remember in the future, when some dude you didn’t know on the internet told you to laugh it up back when you could quit without ending up in jail for it.
There’s a way to word that may make it seem like they actually care but they went all authoritative. Ridiculous. If you reserve the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this right to fire me at any point. Then I reserve the right to quit! What’s good for the goose and all that jive. “Dude, Jeremy got accepted to college, and he said he was leaving in a week, to study, like, film or something. And so our manager, oh fuck man, he took him out back and shot him in the head. He shot him in the fucking head.” They act like they have the authority to that!? Lol! Only an idiot would read that and think they are legally obligated to do anything at all. I would like the job just so I could quit whenever the fuck I say so. And I’ll be taking these chicken nuggets on my way out. This reminds me of the Simpsons episode when Lisa says “You can’t drive without a license, dad.” Homer replies.”I’m gonna try it anyways… It started! It’s a miracle!”. Man, I really took the the opposite way from most people. I thought they were saying “if you find yourself in a stressful situation, and want to quit, we won’t consider your resignation official until til you have time to reconsider and speak directly to the store manager”. I live in an “employment at will” State. They don’t have to give me a 2 week notice if I am fired, why give a 2 week notice to quit?
Well technically, the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this responsible thing to do is to talk to your supervisor before quitting. But it’s shitty fast food. People still won’t show up if they don’t feel like working there anymore
Many places, but especially countries of similar wealth/living standards. Canada, UK, Netherlands, Germany, etc. I.e., places that Americans go to work. Not places that Americans move to because they perceive it as cheap, and the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this locals see them as simply making their local housing market unaffordable. I talk to a lot of vendors from the UK and Germany. I find it hilarious they get infuriated at Americans for being too polite. I keep trying to figure out how that’s a bad thing Comment Image In my experience, Americans tend to beat around the bush a lot, which can be frustrating for us Europeans. I’d rather you tell me “no” instead of “sure, if that’s what you want, but maybe we could also consider…”
I am American and have had the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this same experience with British people being indirect. Sorta funny to hear the opposite Oh, the Brits do that too, even if they deny it! They just know the “hidden” meaning behind their phrases and they don’t know the meaning behind the American ones, I suppose. Germans, on the other hand, are usually really straight forward, they are my favorite type of “foreigner” to deal with because of that. Ha, I have seen the German and Austrian directness. It’s refreshing for logistical issues though still jarring for more social commentary like “why are you fat”, or “how come you married an ugly man” type of questions. I lived in Germany for a year and I always heard that Germans don’t like small talk. Which I found to be absolutely false since I’ve talked to so many Germans who liked small talk. I had a coworker over there ask to get coffee and he talked to me for like 2 hours lol I spent three years in Germany, one in Portugal and like six months in the UK, it was only after I took a class called “Tolerating Cultural Differences” (lol) that it all started to make sense As a general rule, Americans don’t like saying or hearing “no” or being perceived as having a negative answer or view. You can even see it in out politics: people don’t call themselves anti abortion or anti gun, it’s pro life (or choice) and pro gun control (or second ammendment) I think it’s more about how we enjoy straight forwardness instead of overly polite behavior because the latter can come across as insincere.
Honestly this really depends where Americans are from. Midwesterners do this a lot. I am from the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this west coast and work in the Midwest occasionally and have been corrected for being hostile when I am asking direct questions. My friends from the UK while visiting America used to make fun of American waitresses for saying “have a nice day”. They thought it was so fake and hilarious. They just didn’t get that American’s are generally nice and polite, especially in a service industry. I say “hope you have a good rest of your day” all the time, because I do. It doesnt cost me anything to send them some good will, and maybe they’re having a bad day and they will appreciate it. I say please and thank you and “have a good day” to nearly every stranger I interact with at a cash register or in any service industry regardless of tips. I am appreciative of their help and I do hope their day is good.
Some people prefer others to be more straightforward. Saves a lot of time and guessing. I know that Asians tend to be more evasive as well, you’ll never get a straight answer about what’s wrong. And sometimes I think about how weird it is, Americans and Asians are culturally very far apart but they still share this trait. Some people see it as politeness, others as hypocrisy. UK people seem rather American hostile on here. Really, most Europeans do. I get the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this lifestyle is the best match, but… As a Brit I don’t know anyone who dislikes Americans here. I think the hostility online is mainly just people on the internet being assholes and jokes which get taken too far sometimes. A lot of internet brits and Americans seem to hate each other but I have always got on well with them irl. The hostility is the result of refusing to integrate. I’ve never met a single American who learned the language of the country he immigrated to or who adapted to the local mannerisms. And I used to work with plenty of Americans in the past. But Brits aren’t any better.
I live in Mexico. I taught myself Spanish. I am married to a Mexican, and I am respectful of the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this people and their culture. I don’t act like an asshole to anyone. Now you know one. Who are all these Americans you met that emigrated to other countries? I literally know ONE. Who moved to Costa Rica and knows Spanish. Right now there are about 100,000 Americans living in here in Calgary, so about 7% of our population. Most have learned our language reasonably well, although an occasional “y’all” still slips out I live in a “cheap” country. But I don’t expect to make the same money I would in the United States, and I don’t expect to have the same housing as the United States either. This is my method to not raise housing prices in the area. Also my boyfriend is from here so I chose here to be with him.
I’m Irish American, I know they hate that. lol Yes, I would love to move there someday. At least for a little while. I understand their frustration with the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this “plastic Paddy’s” that won’t shut up about their great grandmothers’ cousin who lived in Belfast or who partake in borderline offensive “traditions” every March 17, but they gotta lighten up about Americans who retain acknowledgement of their immigrant roots/recognize “American” doesn’t inherently imply white English speaking people who like cheeseburgers (just ask the Ojibwe or Navajo). I think the real thing isn’t that americans recognize their ancestors, its that americans talk about being XYZ as if their direct parents are or they were born there. As an american I realized how actually weird this is only after travelling lol. Every country has their oddities, and its rather harmless in the grand scheme of things. But if you recognize the difference between an ancestor and your immediate family/you for heritage thats the part that gets twisted. This. My wife is first generation Polish and calls people with Polish ancestry around here (but far removed) that are all full of Polish pride “fauxlacks” instead of Polacks.
as an american that is genuinely close polish ancestry ((grandparents fully polish, parent first generation american, know my family and cousins in poland)) this makes me laugh haha, its so accurate. Eh, my father’s folks are from C. Cork, my Mother’s in Bellfast. I’m 2nd gen American and… I’d move back if I could (I actually LIKE my Irish family and don’t have any blood relatives that aren’t Irish, and am in contact with them after having lived there on and off for 6 years in my early teens through my 20s, unlike my American family). I think it’s more about how much of a show you make of it. I’m “Irish American” but I just call myself American because I was born here and live here, even though I grew up in Europe as much as I did here (Army Brat, 53yo. Been all over the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this EU). Just another bit of odd? Dad’s folk? Catholic. Mom’s? Protestant. Don’t know how they were together for the 2 years they were, but… I’m here as proof, so they managed it somehow. lol
nah, what you are is not what we are tlaking about, I am also second gen american actually knowing my family in the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this other country etc. we are talking about people who are proudly irish or chinese or whatever when they have never even met a living person from there– family or otherwise– and don’t even confidently know where it is on the map. Having pride in that situation isn’t bad but it is genuinely weird to treat it the same as first or second gen or even actually from there (which many do). Sadly I’m literally Irish American. Parents from both countries, and I lived and grew up in both countries, in fact much more in Ireland. The Irish seem to want me to call myself just ‘American’ still… The Americans are happy with any description. But they hate them, you always see in Mexico subs how they complain about gentrification and being displaced from their homes they’ve lived in for years.
The americans going to Mexico are richer than mexicans, the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this mexicans going to the USA are poorer than averege americans Reddit isn’t the real world. I travel to Mexico all the time and most people don’t care about Americans and Canadians living down there. I mean, there’s an estimated 1.6 million Americans living down there. I don’t see many of them in a hurry to come back. Most countries you have to have certain qualifications to move there. What you do for work, businesses, economic stability etc. They just don’t let anyone who wants to move come across the border to stay A reasonable, well-mannered American or a pushy, loud, entitled American? Also, how many Americans are we talking about?
Most people are willing to accept you if you’re polite, try to speak their language, and make a reasonable effort to integrate or at least coexist with their culture… even if they don’t really like the Golden State Warriors Skull Edition Fear the Splash Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this country you’re from. I’m an American but damn are most Americans too fucking loud. I wish people would be more courteous and quiet. I know in Japan it’s considered wildly rude to talk on the phone on the train and in a lot of other public places. Here, one of my coworkers seems to call every day about some complaint he has to some poor customer service agent, and he doesn’t leave his cubicle to do it, so we all have to hear this rude fuck berate innocent customer service workers. And then there’s some women in my office who laugh so loudly almost every day that I have to pause the music I’m listening to with headphones because I literally can’t hear it properly over their cackling. Aaand you don’t need to leave the country to experience this, ha. Trying to have a nice peaceful lunch in a restaurant yesterday while 2 small groups of men loudly discussed sports, women, and cars. The holy trinity. Crass, loud, annoying as fuck. I quickly finished and left.
