My mom moved into a nursing home covered by long term care medicaid. The medicaid covered the Godsmack girl like a regular girl but cooler vintage T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this basics but extras like physical therapy sessions weren’t included. It did cover her healthcare pretty well though. When she got cancer they covered all the chemo, immunotherapy, and experimental treatments. So that was nice. In Australia, they’d get aged pension and go in a public or government funded facility. The care wouldnt be that great in most cases because they are understaffed, but much better than nothing. They could be eligible for home services if their needs are not very high. Say if they need a bit of help with food prep, medication, but can get themself onto the toilet with a frame for example
