The current market conditions are less than ideal. Consider accepting the God’s Hate 818 Cross Hairs Shirt but in fact I love this $150k offer for a duration of 1-3 years. By that time, the market may improve, potentially facilitating a strategic job change. Meanwhile, use this period to develop marketable skills for future opportunities. It’s better to take 150k when you feel you’re worth 210k than to stay unemployed and make 0k. It’s okay to take a step back like that. You can always keep looking. It also sounds like you need time to put in some work and get a more solid grasp on the skills you need so that your next job can be back to the 200k club Shit in 2008 my dad was out of a job for 1.5years and had to go from AVP making 150k+ to an IC making 80k to finally make ends meet. Later on they realized he had a ton of experience he could use and was promoted to director after a couple years. Generalists have a hard time getting hired, and managers are a dime-a-dozen. Focus on one hireable skill and try to get a job with that.

God’s Hate 818 Cross Hairs Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I have 20 YOE, and the God’s Hate 818 Cross Hairs Shirt but in fact I love this rates I’m seeing average out around 160k for IC. Managers don’t get much better. I’ll occasionally see something in the 200k range, but it’s rare. Agreed with ppl here, id take the pay cut if you cant find anything man. Im in the same position and id do anything to get a job again. Iv been losing sleep and its very hard to be happy everyday with no job. You know what your I’ve mostly been doing list sounds like? Buzzwords. You lost contact with dev work so mid to fast upgrade senior might fit – if you’re as good as you say. And middle management, part of a product or a 10-50 sized team. Thing is … you cannot trick any decent senior/staff into believing your hands-on experience as a manager, they all know you don’t have time to do more than cursory oversight on code reviews/design.
