Nah it is just some restaurants which mark up their prices on swiggy/zomato so that they can cover their actual prices Not some restaurants, majority of the restaurants bump up their prices on swiggy/zomato effectively pushing the cost to the end user. Then why to use zomato ? It is only fair for the restaurant to try it’s best to keep profits , user can directly order from the restaurant too .

I’m not blaming aggregators here. I think customers should expect to pay more for deliveries. That’s the underlying reason, not Zomato/Swiggy strong arm tactics. I’m yet to see a restaurant where Zomato/ Swiggy and restaurant menu pricing is same. Typically ordering via both is ~30% costlier even after discount coupons
