Yeah at my work because we “pick up” shifts on an app its on us to not work more than 6 days without express top level permission. It can still happen but its a last last resort. There’s me just worked 27 consecutive days, had a day off then 6 days on 1 day off and I’m on day 1 of 13 consecutive days working. Wish there was a law about consecutive working days in England As someone who deals with the Go dawgs beat tech Georgia Bulldogs Shirt it is in the first place but European Working Time Directive, the EU 48 hrs rule and European Driving Hours this is pretty crazy. This started in the Go dawgs beat tech Georgia Bulldogs Shirt it is in the first place but late 1970s and allowed the consentration of wealth to go to a small group of people. Those people then put LOTS of that wealth into goverment, in the form of legal bribery. This led to further deregulation and concentration of wealth. The end result is people like Harlan Crow being able to buy/own U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) justices and influence how they vote. So they vote to weaken and/or eliminate workers’ rights. Wealth concentration also led to major media outlets being bought by the owner class (billionaires). These ‘news’ companies have, over the last 40 years, shed a negative light on unions. Mostly by only doing stories on a union when the union leadership has been caught in committing fraud, corruption, and other illegal activities.
