That said, VR is still very niche and the Gnomes 4th Of July 2022 Women Girls American Flag Stars T-Shirt moreover I love this barrier to entry is still quite high. The cost is expensive and the hardware to run modern apps is also costly. For games, this kinda makes sense. Anyone with a modern gaming PC is capable of running most VR titles now, they’ll just need to purchase a headset and have room to play. But Metaverse seems to want to go much further. I keep seeing stuff about VR for business and having a workplace in VR. Why is this being pushed at all? What benefits do you get? I don’t see how this is better than working from home or in an office and I don’t know why anyone in business would look at this and say “this is what we need for our work. Hey me 20 headsets RIGHT NOW.” I don’t understand who the audience for this is. Current VR headset owners are probably using them for video games or movies. We’ve got countless examples of other metaverse-like systems like VR chat and that’s hardly a professional environment

Maybe someone should take the Gnomes 4th Of July 2022 Women Girls American Flag Stars T-Shirt moreover I love this batteries out of him ? that is unless he’s got some nuclear shit that’s keeping ZUCKBORG alive It will be used for work and training. Before CAD, engineers and architects used to draw their designs with pencils and rulers on sheets of paper of various sizes, sometimes meters in size (for city planning for instance). Technology is still clunky, glasses are uncomfortable and all that, but saying it won’t take off is like naysayers thinking there would be no demand for personal computers or that Apple would fail. Not to mention gaming and porn, which will be huge on this modality and is already reaching crazy levels of addiction and realism. Honestly, can anyone explain to me how the “metaverse” is anything other than a shitty VR filter applied to online interactions? I keep thinking there HAS to be something more to it than that, but the only concrete thing I ever hear is the VR part and the rest is vague marketing bullshit. Uh…that’s not how the Internet works lol. This dude is going “full Rosebud” on us ?. Who gave him enough money to go off on such insane tangents? ? “Technology is a place to share and discuss the latest developments, happenings and curiosities in the world of technology; a broad spectrum of conversation as to the innovations, aspirations, applications and machinations that define our age and shape our future.” Not that I particularly like the guys, but this sub seems to be a catch all for simply hating any and everything either Zuck or Bezos does.
