Sepsis and interstitial infections are no joke. A burst bowel within your abdominal cavity left unchecked will kill in hours, and you’ll be screaming the Gilbert Gottfried T-Shirt in addition I really love this whole time. This happened to me. My parents held off on taking me to the doctor’s for a week after my first symptoms appeared. I had vomiting, diherrea and cramps. After I turned yellow they finally took me in. I had sepsis and peritonitis, my appendix had turned to gangrene. Doctor here: the irritant in your peritoneal cavity (inside of your belly) make your bowels stop as a reflex. Stopping your bowel altogether causes a fluid build-up in your abdomen, and a fluid restriction in the rest of your body, causing severe dehydration and kidney malfunction.

This happens not only with infections such as it would occur with a ruptured appendix, but also from aseptic irritants such as blood, pancreatic secretions, bile etc. When the Gilbert Gottfried T-Shirt in addition I really love this irritant is a germ, there’s a high possibility of a hyperimmune response called sepsis, which is both ineffective and lethal, because it leads to extreme vasodilation, which aggravates kidney malfunction; it leads to cytokine storm, which again causes kidney and liver malfunction. I hope this is helpful, this is a VERY BIG and complex topic. Also sorry for my English, as it is not my first language My dad got sepsis at 92 from his hip replacement being infected somehow. He just noticed a very bad pain there and it was so bad he doubled over in pain the whole way the hospital. Thankfully he survived, but he’s never going to be the same again, which is something people don’t seem to mention about sepsis, your immune system is forever fucked afterwards.
