I want them to put up with my incessant talking about the Ghostbusters Yes Have Some shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this guy even if there’s no way any of it can be of interest to them. Making them coffee? As in the morning after a wild night? That is not early stage anymore. He got what he wanted, now, what do you want? How about not fking ghosting for starters and stop saying that you’re busy then why the fk are you on dating apps if you have a regularly packed schedule smh. Just be honest and understand that no one is going to be the perfect match for you on the first date, I know everyone has dealbreakers but sometimes things don’t go so smooth the first time but as you move on you might find someone amazing. The most important thing please be careful, take care of yourself, don’t be open for sex so easily unless you know what you’re doing. Don’t go to his place or your place on the first date, don’t go to lonely places, a lot of women are broken because of bad experiences but that doesn’t mean all men are the same. I’d settle for someone pretending to be interested in me as a person. Not even actual interest – my bar isn’t set high enough for that unrealistic standard – but just general enquiries as to my wellbeing, possibly telling me about their day in some sort of detail… you know, the absolute bare minimum for interpersonal relationships. As woman men are the same when it comes to diversity of personality so it’s not a single right answer. Be yourself and don’t try to trick someone to like you for something you are not. Cost of one meal and in most cases you know whether it’s someone you want to spend time with or not. Not talking to other dudes, seems impossible for women these days. They have legit become the players their mothers/fathers/grandparents warned about. To talk. To ask thoughtful & intriguing questions, listen to the answer, and building on the response rather than just talking superficially about herself. Stating opinions & defending them. Being assertive and stating her wants & desires rather than just doing what she thinks I want them to do.
