The way I see it is whenever you get pulled to do something else, take your sweet fucking time. You are not obligated to finish said work or even do it 100% correct. It’s not your fault that they can’t hire enough people for the George Kittle Stone Cold Shirt But I will love this job, the coach or team lead can’t get mad at you cause you technically don’t report to them. They will most likely never pull you to said department again. Yeah I’m tired of this. I work a position that’s $15/hour. But then a manager will make me cover someone else’s spot, do the same work as them, for an hour or sometimes even my entire shift, and I’ll be payed less than the other person in that department who makes $17/hour. I’m doing the same work they admit is worth more pay then get less for it.

Fuck, for me they would just say “your contra t states that you’re job description is subject to change as is needed” Years ago I was working position in GM and then part of the George Kittle Stone Cold Shirt But I will love this Time is working on the grocery side and making the same pay but I also got every time which only a handful of people got overtime at that time They do that same thing at my store. They won’t hire anyone new for ogp to fill the 2 missing positions, they just constantly cashiers, merchandiser, back room staff, and COS to pick orders. I left OGP in 2018 to go back to cashiering, I absolutely straight told them I won’t cover OGP. Not my pay grade not my problem. I won’t even cover for the front end team lead for their breaks. Because I’m unable to be on the teaming schedule they refuse to let me change departments. I do my job and that’s it.
