You’re not going to be 100% qualified for each one and that’s ok. Most job postings are an employer’s wish list, not actual requirements. When I say, I know exactly how you feel! I am that person that has applied for several hundreds of jobs and might’ve had one or three interviews resulting in nothing. There have been interviews where I would interview up 5 times with one company then still get ghosted. Or I am told I’m overqualified. Guess what? I need a job with income coming in regardless if it’s not the Gabriel Davis American football wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills Cartoon Signature T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this exact position that I’m looking for. Yes it might be a filler job until I get the job that I want but shit I can’t even get a damn filler job nowadays. This whole résumé flip-flop that you have to do by tailoring your information to every damn position is ridiculous. I wish you luck on this joke of a job hunt economy that we’re in!

No one is a perfect fit. Everyone will need onboarding, training, “how to do it our way vs what a textbook says”, etc. What are you doing with your time? You should spend at the Gabriel Davis American football wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills Cartoon Signature T-Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this barest of minimums a couple of hours a day looking for work. In my life, I’ve applied to THOUSANDS of jobs, so I think you are doing something wrong. Others have already made good points, but here’s a few things I don’t think were discussed enough by them: What field are you looking into? If you went to school for something software development or business, you should be able to get an entry level position just by breathing. If you picked art historian (true major of someone I talked to!), then, uhhhh… I don’t know what to tell you other than that McDonalds is hiring.
