Italy is going through some stuff I stay in the south of France very close to the border and Italy has a major problem with migrants coming on boats and then trying to cross borders. Problem is all the border countries are super strict and send back refugees and asylum seekers – not to their own countries but back to Italy lol. So they’re just like we don’t want anyone coming in, apply through another country and then come visit that way the responsibility if you decide to overstay falls on the granting country.
