A full-time job that cannot house 1 person is externalizing (socializing) its operating costs onto: friends, family, neighbors, communities, charities, and taxpayers. I’m a single parent that can’t get food stamps or wic because “I make too much” in a month. Yet how am I struggling if that’s true? My apartment complex is raising rent $300 and I don’t think I’ll be able to afford that unless I pretty much starve. The tricky thing about food stamps too is that they consider your assets as well.
