To a lot of guys without extra perspective, if a girl dresses sexy it’s to attract a guy or implies she’s open for pursuit. That anger or distress is a fear response from a guy who doesn’t understand why a girl would dress this way if she’s not still advertising she’s sexually available or open. It’s completely ridiculous. I married an amazing woman who I know dresses absolutely scandalously in her fashion choices at times and I love it. No reason to put bait on the hook if you’re not looking to catch a fish. It’ll just go bad. So, basically, the assumption is that engaged in certain behaviors to land a mate, and now that she has a mate she shouldn’t continue engaging in those behaviors. It’s not at all a weird concept, but as all things it’s important to communicate expectations and boundaries in a relationship.
