What people often forget is that if you believe that your God is speaking through you can justify just about anything. Whether it’s calling for execution of queer people or raping children. This the Funny milli Vanilli Signature Singer American Music 80’s Fanart Aesthetic T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this problem of having religion. Note I say religion not personal spirituality. Evangelicals should not be protecting child rapists. The fuck is wrong with them? How many rape their kids too? Is there a difference in the US between evangelicals and protestants? Where I’m from it’s one and the same and just a slightly different flavour of Christians. I had been leaving the faith for a while, but I jumped right out of it when my dad told me that their church was attempting to buy the low income housing units across the street from them to build a parking lot there. I asked him why they couldn’t purchase the empty lot that was actually closer for their parking lot and he said “well we don’t really need the parking, we just don’t want the wrong kinds of people moving into the neighborhood.” Any and all good will I had for the church left me in that moment.

The only reason the Funny milli Vanilli Signature Singer American Music 80’s Fanart Aesthetic T-Shirt Apart from…,I will love this Catholic Church gets more bad press than the Southern Baptist Church is that Southern Baptist Churches are decentralized, which allows them to tell the “a few bad apples” lie to parishioners every time another predator is found in a leadership position at one of their churches. I’ve never understood how “a few bad apples” is a defense, given the full phrase is “a few bad apples ruin the bunch.” Splitting hairs, but technically the National Association of Evangelicals has split off from the Southern Baptist Convention because the Southern Baptist Convention wasn’t pants-shitting insane enough for them. Even my own southern, conservative, pastor father has stopped referring to himself as “Baptist” because there’s just too much wrong with those denominations.
