The kid forgot their iPad (or something similar) outside, the Funny alabama On Saturdays And Dolphins On Sundays Signature shirt and by the same token and neighbor took it and threw it over her fence (I believe saying “Go fetch”?) and when the mother knocked on the door to ask the neighbor for it back, sociopath decided “She deserves to die for her kids forgetting their iPad!” and shot her through the door. Killed by a 71 year old man. He traumatized the little sister who will carry it forever. The violence we are capable of is astounding. What’s not exactly clear here is if the British family was living in France at the location or vacationing, nor if they were the ones in the argument with the Dutch family, and were therefore the direct targets or innocent bystanders. It’s sort of implied in the article, but not specific. Doesn’t really matter except details I suppose, the girl is still gone, and that’s just unfortunate in the extreme, to say the very least.

Edit: I’ve been informed multiply that indeed all were living at the Funny alabama On Saturdays And Dolphins On Sundays Signature shirt and by the same token and neighboring domiciles, and indeed the two families were arguing. Tragic, period. According to a Dutch newsreport, the 71 year old shooter and his wife had been living there three years. The British neighbours five. There was an ongoing conflict about land. What’s not exactly clear here is if the British family was living in France at the location or vacationing, nor if they were the ones in the argument with the Dutch family It seemed pretty clear. It said the family was shot by a neighbour after a long running dispute over a plot of land adjoining both their properties. The father and mother were both shot in the head also, the father is critical. The mother thankfully is doing okay. They were living in France at the location, in an argument with the Dutch couple and were the direct target of the 71 years old men. Interesting that “innocent bystanders” is used to mean untargeted chance victims. Although a child could be presumed innocent, it’s not like being actually involved would make her guilty. Imagine being so fucked in the head you decide the correct decision is to fire a shotgun, blindly or otherwise, at a family barbeque, taking the life of a child and ensuring you spend what remains of your life in prison, and all over a fucking residential land dispute. Hope it was worth it; never mind the disputed land, you aren’t even going to get to see your own house again.
