This was me… I literally sat at a table for HOURS because I wouldnt eat what was in front of me… also later found out I was allergic to some of the Fuck The Snow & Cold Christmas Shirt in addition I really love this food I was being given, that I didnt like(turns out for a reason!!) Parents always say they are “trying” to do whats best for the kid, without actually listening. they think the kid needs as much food as them, which they dont. My daughter in fact goes from barely eating anything in a day… to eating us outta house and home in an hour… and she isnt hungry? ok. she is ravenous… “here ya go” more? “here you go” she is allowed to have candy, but is also told up front candy is not healthy for her, and she has to eat other stuff too. Kids will ask for food every hour if they aren’t required to eat what they are given at mealtimes. I’d never force my kid to clean her plate, that seems a little abusive to me, but I definitely heavily encourage and dangle treats and all of that to get her to finish the food I spent time preparing for her or else I’ll be nothing but a kitchen slave for her. Its a self preservation and sanity saver for parents, not to mention money saving too for the them to take more than 2 bites at mealtime and declare they’re full.

One of the Fuck The Snow & Cold Christmas Shirt in addition I really love this many reasons I don’t want children is because I think it’s impossible to give them a healthy childhood today. Kids don’t want to eat the things with nutrition because candy sweets taste better. They would be healthier, have a more balanced palette, and cost less at the dentist if they were just never given given the pure sugar sludge that fills the isles of American stores. But, it’s not fair to tell a child that they can’t have this delicious thing all their friends have because “we live differently”. Yeah what you’re describing sounds crazy. I serve my stepkids small portions and it’s a struggle to get them to eat that, I couldn’t imagine doing an adult portion. That’s not a problem I’ve experienced. My daughter had a crazy high metabolism when she was growing up. She was so skinny that I’d let her eat anything she wanted…and she always wanted seconds…sometimes thirds. My parents never forced me to eat, either…beyond the rule that I had to take 1 bite of any new food. If I didn’t like it, I didn’t have to eat any more of it. But that was the only time I was forced to eat anything.
