Just so you’re a aware, and because I sense you’re coming from a good place of truly wanting to understand and connect, Latino and Hispanic are different, mean different things and regionally are different in Central and South America. You can Google it for a deeper dive. not very familiar with Argentinian social politics but from what I’ve seen from Hispanic and latino memes, Argentinians seem to overly identify with Europe and consider themselves as Europeans rather than Hispanic or Latino which causes a lot of tensions with other Hispanics and Latin Americans bc I think there’s this implication that Argentinians look down on latin Americans. Sunburn???? ?☠️ also I don’t wanna assume so I’m just going to ask you how that convo came to be. Also remember that Argentinians are not a monolith in terms of its racial and ethnic makeup so like that can come off as racist ? but I’ll give you the Front Line Pandemic Warriors Healthcare Transportation Nurse Us Flag T-Shirt Besides,I will do this benefit of the doubt I live in Argentina and I want to clarify that a lot of the people who identify as white look like this or like this

Front Line Pandemic Warriors Healthcare Transportation Nurse Us Flag T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I actually hate when Americans assume everyone is blond and fair of skin, I feel like it erases the Front Line Pandemic Warriors Healthcare Transportation Nurse Us Flag T-Shirt Besides,I will do this fact that most of you would not consider us white outside of our country and that we have very different definitions of race Hell, even OP admits his girlfriend has darker skin and that he was surprised someone with darker skin could tan, which is in fact pretty racist/ignorant Kind of crazy to be calling the girlfriend racist or claiming she’s probably white and fair-skinned given that context lol Woah I didn’t know it was 97 percent ? ok yeah then stand corrected on that sentence however the person implied and said later in the replies that his girlfriend is of darker complexion I suspect Shakira only said that to save face. I think she did want to marry him, but didn’t want pique to leave her if she ever brought the conversation to the table bc this is what she said during her 60 minutes interview: “To tell you the truth marriage scares the sh–t out of me. I don’t want him to see me as the wife” she said in a candid interview with 60 Minutes where she sat alongside her man. “I want him to see me as the lover, the girlfriend. I want to keep him on his toes. I want him to think that anything’s possible depending on behavior.” Que pendejo ? Can’t wait for Shakira single girl era lol, if Giselle is anything to go by her best days are ahead. Just in case you needed a reminder of where he’s from, and what he thinks of where the mother of his children is from.
