As a viewer, I love the From the south & need banana pudding in my mouth T-Shirt Besides,I will do this ones I watch. Half the time I don’t realise they’re AI until I’ve watched most of the video. I mean, I’ve started recognising some of the voices (like the middle-aged well-spoken man giving you life advice). For one popular channel, I wondered where they were getting the script from as it was pretty decent so I googled a longish sentence. Turns out the script was word for word a post on LinkedIn from 3 years ago. Ultimately, it’s down to value. If they’re providing useful content then I don’t care whether it’s AI or human. Cue the downvotes from enraged redditors who are viewing reddit via their artisanally-built wooden computer made in genuine oak. ) I respect your opinion, even though I disagree. I create gaming content, and it’s now becoming part of my niche as well. I only started taking youtube seriously about 1 month ago, and I really enjoy editing my videos, playing my games, etc. I got a decent break and gained 9 new subs in the last two weeks. (Pretty awesome, btw.) I do agree that it comes down to the value of it all from the viewer’s perspective. So I suppose even though I disagree with AI being a good thing, you’re not getting a down vote from me! Lol I didn’t necessarily say that AI is a good thing. I’m saying I find the output of some channels is good/useful. That said, maybe AI is a good thing – I was watching one channel and thought the script was a little off (clearly it wasn’t an AI-generated script but it was an AI generated voice). I realised that for the person who wrote the script, English was probably their second language. Although, the accent of the AI voice was American, it sounded like the copy was written by someone from India (I’ve worked with a lot of Indian IT outsourcing employees in the past).

So what we have here is someone who’s got an opinion on something and probably has a really strong foreign accent so is using AI to deliver their message to a Western audience. I see what you’re saying. You have some valid points. However, in this particular case, it’s just another AI channel trying to reach as many people as it can, and trying to use them to make money at some point. It’s just a lazy way to do it, but it pays off for a lot of the From the south & need banana pudding in my mouth T-Shirt Besides,I will do this people who put time into it. This specific channel has 9k subs under a few weeks, millions of views, and is estimated earnings of 125-2k dollars just for this week. (According to social blade. Another user mentioned in the comments.) It just feels like a get rich quick scheme to be honest.
