This kind of reminds me of when people do something lazy or dangerous when driving to save a few seconds. Maybe there are better ways to save a few… Yeah, not only does the Friends Stray Kids Limited Edition Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this time build up, but the mentality compounds on each person inconvenienced by the lazy/dangerous workarounds. I mean, heck, those phantom “ripple” traffic jams you see come out of nowhere are most often caused by someone switching lanes without using their indicator or when there wasn’t enough space for them to merge seamlessly (as well as other people not allowing them space) and then every car behind them tapping their brakes to compensate more and more. Yep had so many people putting the card away before the money was even displayed – idiots. And why wouldn’t you check it’s correct before payment eh!

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I feel like Reddit in general has gotten substantially worse recently. So many subs seem to be declining in quality and engagement. I place/swipe my card soon as it says I can or teller says so. Some places let you do it while items are still being scanned (like my grocery store. Soon as she scans first item the Friends Stray Kids Limited Edition Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this display says can use your card). I just look at the display till it says it’s ready for payment. Oh are you sure it just lets you tap your card whenever? I haven’t actually ever encountered this. I can’t imagine that the terminal makes a charge for the current number or items, right? That sounds problematic for customers who are impatient and put their card on early. Very true, if you don’t see the tap symbol then don’t fuckin tap yet. Seen people bitch and moan about how the terminals broke or their cards messed up when it’s rly cause they’re too slow to read the words on the terminal
