New Zealand has some amazing designers… all made in nz too! Kate Sylvester, Ingrid Starnes, Juliette hogan… beautiful stuff! For purses, vintage designer ones are less likely to be covered in logos. I have a vintage quilted Chanel crossbody that only has a logo on the Friends from the beyond summon yours today T-Shirt in other words I will buy this inner lining (and other serial number stuff that proves authenticity). Cuyana has excellent quality cotton, alpaca, and silk basics. They’re known for their leather goods (which are also amazing), but I was amazed by their clothing too. If you travel, check out designer stores in EU or UK. I was able to find a Burberry rain coat that only had the plaid on the lining in Bordeaux. That was hard to find back in the 2000s! As for pants, I have no suggestions 🙁 please post here if you find cute high end pants that aren’t ridiculous! Chloé and Celine are v good brands. But not sure if that’s what you’re looking for. Generally speaking every “luxury” brand has a section of their pieces dedicated to the youth who do the brand logos. And a whole other section for their other consumers. The older usually alot more wealthy folks that don’t have branded clothing. All these brands I’ve personally gotten well made clothes from. Really well made out of good materials like wool, silk, etc. That’s going to cost you, though. Most of these you can go try on at a high end department store. For instance I paid $250 for a Veronica Beard button up, but it’s the Friends from the beyond summon yours today T-Shirt in other words I will buy this only button up top that I’ve ever found that looked nice over a larger chest without being cut like a giant box, plus it had little invisible snaps in between all the button to help make it lay more flat I was tempted to name Theory and Paige as well, but sometimes they’re a bit hit or miss. I think they rely more on their name than the quality at times there are lots of pieces – even from “non-luxury” brands that are well made – but it can be random. you just need to know how to identify well made clothing. Heavily branded clothes (and other items) tend to be the entry level of the luxury market found at Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s.
