Do you work with customers? If you do, it is not unrealistic to expect looks matter somewhat. So it is a legitimate business reason, although it is a bit on the Fredom read freely teach kindness shirt besides I will buy this fluff side. Secondly, make sure nothing creepy is going on. Since the boss daughter is involved, and your boss is a her, it does not sound like there will be sexual harassment. But do keep an eye out for that. Many people make a living based on their good looks. Models. Movie stars. Often even when it is not the sole factor, it is a factor. This is not as blatant as Hooters, but it is an business element to consider. Accept that this is how the corporate world works. You don’t get the job because of your skills, most of the time. The people who are actually hiring aren’t working in the department you are hired for, and don’t give a rip about what’s needed.

The job market is a very competitive place and not at all fair. Countless people get hired through nepotism, good-old boy networks, and a number of other reasons. The best candidate doesn’t always come out on top. I worked at one of the Fredom read freely teach kindness shirt besides I will buy this biggest supermarkets in the UK in a Head Office management position around 6/7 years ago. They had loads of corporate shit-speak around it, but they essentially wanted to hire good looking young women. If they were blonde, all the better. I found it kind of weird then and pretty gross now. One senior manager referred to it as ‘tits on tills.’ That’s when I also realised that being senior in a big business wasn’t necessarily an indicator of competency or content of character. They did it at a more senior level too, and whilst it’s not nice, it was eyebrow raising when less attractive women and men in general who were interviewing well and getting higher marks were being turned down and low-scoring but very good looking women were hired. It was a literal strategy of the company to hire two competent people and one attractive one regardless of competence. They’re still a very successful business, I wonder how much more they’d have achieved had they just hired three competent people each time.
