“Isn’t necessarily what the Force john force racing car signature shirt in addition I really love this rest of the country wants”, is about the hugest understatement I’ve ever heard. Desantis isn’t going to win anyone over who would never have voted for trump. Trump lost the popular vote twice and last time it was by even more. Only because of the electoral college, gerrymandering and voter suppression does the minority party of the republicans win anything. Every poll will tell you that from reproductive rights to gay rights the majority in this country are not on the fascist side of things. My theory is that desantis actually does the extreme things he talks about where trump says anything and everything but doesn’t care enough to actually do the thing. That might actually deter some repugs for voting for a desantis. Hopefully trumps cult followers splinter a lot off from desantis. Even a lot of repugs in govt know these extremist are not what even a lot of repugs want to vote for.

I saw an interview with one at last night’s rally in El Paso. “We like Desantis. But we like him in Florida, he should stay there.” The only time I was in Florida, I was there to see to my son’s remains. Everyone was so sympathetic – for example, we got a free upgrade rental car to a minivan with satellite radio. I kept that thing on the Force john force racing car signature shirt in addition I really love this Grateful Dead station, a good counter to the right-wing. Northern Florida, where this happened, is especially insane. It’s like the normal Florida crazy with a giant helping of Alabama heaped on top. I forget where I heard it from but someone once said in Florida, the more north you go, the more south you get. I have a friend who moved there with his husband. They’re there trying to support the fight against hatred. (They’re very active in a certain group there, whom I will not name out of respect for their privacy.) It was also only 1 book, in a private school library, unregistered to the school , and despite surveiĺlance cams everywhere, the footage could not determine the origin of said “pro-trans childrens books” being in a school library… but it took 1 phone call to local news made before the schools head administrators were told about the book to set off the “Moms for Liberty” coverage of spouting lies to trigger the right wing mouthpieces. The funny thing is that the people who are complaining about this were raised by parents who, up until about the mid to late 70s or early 80s, were required to shower with their peers in school after PE (in high school at least) and saw beaucoups of other naked bodies. Our society was also modeled in large part after the Greek society of old. You know, a society where nudity was a normal expected part of life and the Olympics were done totally in the buff. That society seems to have gotten along just fine and produced the foundation that all modern European based societies, and science, are built upon
