It would absolutely, I’m moving out soonish with my gf and neither of us have any significant amount of money to our name, so having a cushion like that would be a huge life safer to get us some time to find a proper job/finish studying without having to worry. Ofc it would make me happier. Not in an “All my problems are solved” kind of way. Most of my problems have nothing to do with money and I’m financially stable with or without this million. The key word in the Follow Your Heart And Nothing Else find yourself flower shirt in contrast I will get this question is “happier.” It’s not happy. So will I be happier not laying awake at night worrying about bills and hoping I don’t get sick because I would be a dead man? Yes. I would be happier. Would I be happier being able to travel? Yes. Would I be happier having more peace of mind? Yes. Happier. Would I still have troubles? I guess so. But take away the money troubles and yes, I would be happier. Of course it would. The old adage that money doesn’t buy happiness is nonsense. We’re all stressed out by the current cost of everything. £1million would mean I could clear my debts, my mortgage, have the holiday of a lifetime and probably help out my family. Once my debts and mortgage were gone every day would be a payday.

Yes, I could afford to buy land, put a small home on it, with solar and wind to supplement electric bills, hydroponic garden, work part time doing something I enjoy doing to pay the Follow Your Heart And Nothing Else find yourself flower shirt in contrast I will get this rest of the utilities. Wouldn’t have to worry about losing it, would have a work life balance, would be able to afford to travel and socialize and in 30 years die of old age, not die sooner of a heart attack from stress and over working. Invest in things that would help the community, things like that. Yes, absolutely. One of the main stressors in my life is not being certain about my future. I’m not doing bad by any means, but if something happens that prevents me from working and rack up some medical bills or whatever, im fucked (like most people I assume). A million dispersed trough a few investments and an emergency fund would fix literally 90% of the things that keep me up at night.
