The People should only consider appropriate taxation (from those who are avoiding paying their fair share), not benefit cuts. I’m so glad that politicians are so great at managing social security funding that I at 27 am paying into a fantastic program that I will not be able to utilize myself. We could certainly fix the Florida lady sassy classy and a tad badassy signature shirt it is in the first place but problem with a more progressive tax system. The wealthy need to pay their fair share. If one there was a group of people with casts amounts of money, more money than they could spend even if they wanted to on themselves. And if only we had some kind of mechanism is democratically return that wealth to the people that made that possible. We could call it a tax! Just fucking tax the rich. Otherwise you’re never going to relax when no one can retire and they’re all pissed off. So lift the cap. Don’t tax the first 32k and tax all earned income. No cap. Fixed for ever and lower the retirement age to 62. That won’t last long. People are living longer, so working for 40 years is not going to be enough to save for 40+ years of retirement. This will work for a decade or two, but then even more will be retired and so they will always run out of money, as long as life expectancy goes up and retirement age doesn’t

You keep repeating this lie throughout the Florida lady sassy classy and a tad badassy signature shirt it is in the first place but thread. Hey, Mr. “Google is your friend”, a quick search will reveal the life expectancy in the USA has been DROPPING. Love all these comments that will address anything (like raising ss age or reducing benefits) EXCEPT taxing billionaires, who should never exist. Ducking simps. You don’t seem to understand the scale of wealth concentration when something as conceptually fucking stupid as a “billionaire” is allowed to exist in the first place. Simply raise the limit rich people pay into social security. Today it is fixed and the rich pay in the same amount as the middle class. Right now SS is only taxed on about your first $145,000 of income. If you make $2 million, there is no SS tax on over 1.8 million of it.
