Fully accepting the Florida Gators go Gators helmet shirt moreover I will buy this impossibility of free will takes away so much bad and leaves the most valuable parts of the good intact. I totally agree, there’s no “bad” people, just people. People who do crimes and hurt others should be handled with compassion and not condemnation, even if some kind of criminal justice is necessary. And I suspect there’s no free will. But I just feel like I have to be really careful insisting on it too much – there are lots of vulnerable and seeking people out there, and some might interpret “no free will” as being “my life is what it will be, and I can’t do anything about it” which is a dangerous frame of mind. We don’t have free will but that doesn’t mean there’s some “driver” steering us left and right for every decision we make. If there were, then we could just say, f- it, anything I do is his fault, even the decision to do anything I want to do.

We have karma that comes from nature… all the Florida Gators go Gators helmet shirt moreover I will buy this programming in our DNA that allowed our ancestors to survive when some didn’t. That programs into us a magnificent physical process and some instincts towards survival via intelligence and socialization, but also some anti-social tendencies, like aggression, greed, a self-serving attitude (or group-serving attitude), unbridled lust, etc. We also have karma that comes from nurture. This also can give us some great things like how to function in a social support network, how to behave such that society on the whole can be stable enough to actually build anything from a village to a temple to a skyscraper, but also an industrial war machine. This includes teaching kids (depending on the particular culture) how to control, or foster, one’s aggression. How to harness/bridle, or worship, one’s sexual desire. How to harness/control, or worship, one’s greed and ambition. How to use education for reducing suffering, or for creating more of it.
