…..but Biden says the Florence oregon it’s where my story begin’s shirt and I love this job market’s doing GREAT!!! “Just added 339,000 new positions to the workforce in May” alone! Meanwhile, I keep reading post after post of people submitting hundreds of resumes and going on months and months with no interviews or offers. Not to mention the review my resume sub is a huge representation as to the real state of the workforce. The math ain’t mathing. If what you are applying for has user groups or networking events, find those in your area and attend. What I have found is that it is not what you know… but “who” you know. Sometimes it has helped me in the past to go through a recruiter as a temp to hire. You may have to go to a couple of different agencies, but it’s in their interest to have you be hired. You will at least be able to have 6 months to add to your resume for varying companies, and a solid reference for your skills. And where are these 339,000 jobs the US govt claims were added to the economy in May? Where do they get these numbers? Seems like propaganda. My kid graduated college right as Covid pandemic hit and still can’t find meaningful work and so many people were laid off early this year

I was feeling the Florence oregon it’s where my story begin’s shirt and I love this exact same way until last week when I FINALLY got an offer after about 4 months of serious searching. This is what happened to me so it may not apply but I really only started to get more interviews when I started to compromise on what type of job I was willing to take, which for me meant not working in the exact line of business that I originally wanted to and lessening the amount of pay I’d be willing to work for. I know it sucks and you can always keep looking but I know for me I had to find something already for financial stability so I had to take the low paying job at a lovely little company that wasn’t in the exact field I wanted. For me I’m content bc it means I can breathe now knowing I’ll be able to have some income that’s enough to cover all my costs and still be able to save but also I’ll be able to acquire that all important ‘relevant’ experience which I had none of as I just finished university. I also revamped my resume with some help and increased the amount of applications I put out which might’ve helped me as well. Keep your head up and keep trucking. You’ll find something. You got this
