Let me repeat something that has been said 1000s of times by other people and it makes me seem like a wise sage.. I disagree with almost everything on this sub, but this is just factual. Any conservative who disagrees isn’t actually conservative, they’re just Republican. Working full time (40 hours per week) at $7.25/hr. grosses $1,256.67 per month. The gross income limit for an individual (to say nothing of adding in their dependents, which raises the Flight 93! True Heroes of 911! Never Forget!! Classic T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this income limit) is $2,265/mo. Actually that’s far from true. The politicians that allowed the corporations to have all their breaks are the ones to blame. No one is forcing them to pay minimum wage. They could choose to pay a good wage, have more motivated and invested employees and probably see a net gain from it. But they won’t, because the current system only values short term gain. Was referring to corporations in general. But honestly if it isn’t a liveable wage paid by Walmart, it still holds up. You blame the politicians and not the corporations and rich people who bribed them? What’s your solution to the problem, give the rich and their corporations more power? Yeah for sure man, people should just starve if they don’t have skills you deem profitable, very cool take. Jackass

You shouldn’t need skills to be able to live. This isn’t survival of the Flight 93! True Heroes of 911! Never Forget!! Classic T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this fittest. We’re beyond that as a species, or would be if not for greed. Just a couple of years ago things were fine. Gas was cheap, housing prices were not through the roof, food was affordable. Now look were we are . Got an absolute joke running this country. 81 million votes my ass. Housing prices were absolutely through the roof and gas was cheap because Russia and OPEC were in a race to the bottom on oil prices. So if you and I have the same job… I’m 16 and live at home with my parents, and you’re 50 and have 6 kids… does our boss just pay both of us the $100k you would need to house and feed and clothe your 6 kids, making me a super rich 16yr old? Or do we get different salaries for the same job?
