I would probably buy a Sony Honda vehicle if they named it something silly like H/S-EV Pro (Honda/Sony – Electric Vehicle Pro) Sony – if this is going to be anything like your purchase and “upgrade” of Star wars galaxies, just throw it in the Flash – King Of The Impossible T-Shirt and by the same token and trash right now. I can’t wait until I have to download an update which requires me to also download and install every single prior update before it works. Thanks Sony! Is it going to have some weird unmarketable name like all the Sony products not named PS4? Lackluster internals like their phones? & Be incredibly overpriced like their TVs? I think this means in a couple years Sony is going to release an electric vehicle on its own, which will basically be an electric Honda Civic with two thumbsticks added to the middle I like the idea of EVs, but I live in a rural area. There are barely any charging stations within reasonable driving distance and I’m not sure that I ever see any on my regular out of town hiking trips. So on top of dropping a huge $$ to buy the car, I’d then have to install a charging station at home and constantly be paranoid I wouldn’t have a place to charge when traveling. Make it 20 k usd otherwise this electric is for the well off / rich while middle class and poor can’t afford it. Yeah….that’s good news. A company that knows how to make software and UI and a company that knows how to make reliable cars combine!

Kinda funny since Gran Tursimo sucks off Nissan every game they released. But given the Flash – King Of The Impossible T-Shirt and by the same token and better opportunity with Honda atm this makes sense. In case you guys didn’t know already, Honda and GM teamed up to make EV cars, so these very well may be at your local Chevy dealership in the future With the 82 mile range of the Clarity, I was able to make it work on my 70 mile daily commute. Unlike Tesla*, I don’t mind going almost 0% battery. In fact, I’ve gone home 5 times in the three year lease at 0% while backing into my garage. Driving a Model Y now, I notice that I average 85-95 a day, so having the extra 100 mile buffer is good for the peace of mind. *Tesla recommends not going below 20% and not going above 80% for your daily charging to preserve battery life. That means your “normal” mileage is 60% of what is advertised. I would not be surprised to see Sony try to implement some proprietary charging technology rather than using standard L2 or DC fast charging. I also won’t be surprised if they try to make it a “luxury” vehicle since they’re claiming they want to take on Tesla. I really hope they don’t, because a bog standard Civic with an efficient electric drivetrain could be the final push to making EVs commonplace. DriveStation-2 will be the classic best seller. But i wont hold my breath in getting the DriveStation-5 since it’s always out of stock Something tells me that a partnership is going to make a worse electric car than a fully vertically integrated company, since the full integration allows for a more holistic approach to the overall design and manufacturing.
