We agreed that it was dumb so we took part in a local charity that collected presents for kids that their families couldn’t afford gifts. Felt much better getting a less fortunate teen some t-shirts and sweaters than my coworker some dumb mug or some other clutter. We did the same at my old job. Less stress on shopping and it helps someone who could really use Flamingo Light Star Merry Christmas shirt. I buy my brother’s toys and lego for his birthday and Xmas all the time. He’s older than me but it’s great. Most of the family thinks it’s just this big joke we’re playing but, holy shit am I looking forward to the look on his face when I gently hand him a box that he grabs and the pieces immediately shake.

My nursing cohort did that, and it was amazing. We had four kids assigned to us, and we all got together and collected stuff for them. We actually got a thank you letter back from the program director of our local charity. Honestly, Flamingo Light Star Merry Christmas shirt was so much more fun and made all of us so much happier than trying to get some sort of secret Santa gift for someone you don’t actually really know. When I grow old and begin to forget things about my childhood, I know that one thing that will always stick with me is the sound a Lego box makes when its shaken.

I read about a great idea for next year: for your secret Santa exchange instead of a gift you buy a toy that you think the person would have liked as a kid. You get the fun of the reveal and why they picked it, etc., and then all the toys are donated to Toys for Tots or something similar. I buy toys for my friends as gifts still all of the time. Really Flamingo Light Star Merry Christmas shirt is just because I am looking at shit like bowls or. I don’t know coffee makers and think, “This sucks ass”.
