Even in Belgium, the Fishing Solves Most of My Problem Hunting Solves the Rest T-Shirt Also,I will get this majority of bars use generic glasses for smaller scale brewers or generic beers. Hell, I even have a few generic belgian beer glasses at home that I’ve stolen over the years while visiting. *Source I’ve spoken to Marsden, Pheasantry, and Batemens real ale breweries about this precise subject. Also, multiple reps for Carling, Moretti, and a few local local craft brewers. Bathams Bitter, in a Bathams branded glass, Stella Artois Unfiltered – in a branded glass, Butty Bach – branded glass, DEYA craft beer – branded glass, Tiny Rebel craft beer – branded glass, Oh just brand glasses, then yes that’s true but this is nothing like the Belgians where each glass is different shape and size.

Yeah I think I simplified the Fishing Solves Most of My Problem Hunting Solves the Rest T-Shirt Also,I will get this point of the post. I took it as branded glasses initially but yeah those Belgian beers have some fine looking glasses and shapes. Even in the US, if you order draft Stella Artois, it usually comes in it’s own elegant stemmed glass, while all the other beers come in an ordinary beer glass. Same whenever I hear people say Heineken is amazing. Heineken is a marketing company masquerading as a beer brand. Belgian beer is great but there also is plenty of good Dutch beer (La Trappe, ‘t IJ, Texels.). But those somehow don’t really get exported, it’s mostly shit like Heineken Amazing is much, but I’d say it’s the best of the bottom shelf. It’s carried me through some nights of drinking where I didn’t have the cash for something better. All I remember from our high school trip to Belgium (from Canada) was Jupilere (spelling) it was cheap and readily available and we snuck quite a bit of it. “Jupiler” for everyone who comes to Belgium and wants to try it although everyone will understand you if you say Jupilere they make a big deal about how it’s not some peasant glass, it’s a CHALICE. the worst beer in Belgium pretending it’s fancy lmao
