Once upon a time I was married to a man that said if he ever caught me cheating he “would kill [me] and the First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win T-Shirt moreover I love this guy.” Being with a person who doesn’t respect your basic human right of controlling what happens to your body is just not a reasonable option. It was 100% a threat. He’s not a good guy if he is pro forced birth and seriously believes a living breathing woman deserves less bodily autonomy than a cadaver. It would not be “his” baby, you are two in this. Why should his view on his property (that’s how he sees it, I guess) be prevalent to yours? “for no reason”. Yeah, sure, women just like to do that, just for no reason, the pleasure of going through stress and medical procedure, and go get coffee after and chill with friends. because, you know, it so fun, who needs a reason. I mean… don’t stay with men who say they’ll kill you if you get a certain type of medical care. Just don’t. It’s very possible his mood would change if you were to actually become pregnant and only then would he sound angry while threatening you. I understand he must not have sounded serious when he said it but… that’s still an insane thing to say. Women DO get attacked and threatened over abortions sometimes. Also with your past you really should just leave. He said he’d kill you, not even as a joke not that that would be acceptable either. 🙁 Sorry you only found out now.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win T-Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

This man is telling you who he is. You may have been together for 13 years, but you didn’t know him. Now he is telling you, clearly, who he is. He would have to kill you? And you’re going to call that a joke? I don’t care if y’all were together for 70 years, casually saying they would have to kill you if you made a choice about your body is grounds to get out in a hurry. Yeah, he’s not “pro life” in any way, shape or form. He’s pro-forced birth. And he has just shown you his true colors. What you do with that is up to you. But please don’t use the First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win T-Shirt moreover I love this “we’ve been together for so long” sunk cost fallacy to justify staying with him. I’m so sorry to hear that. Being pregnant is my biggest nightmare because this is my body and it terrifies me to think of it as.your boyfriend says, “that once you’re pregnant it’s not your body anymore.” That’s an interesting perspective to be so blase about. There are a lot of horror movies based on this exact idea. Blessed be the mother’s for making that choice and blessed be that I get to make that choice. Fuck.
