Thanks. I agree. But I guess that’s one train I already missed. I should’ve complained. Lufthansa is the Fireworks Director I Run You Run 4th Of July American Flag T-Shirt and I love this worst and believe me, I’ve traveled via air India and know what bad is. We had originally booked with emirates, but the flight got canceled. You guys should try filing a complaint to the authorities in charge with proof of your original booking. This just sounds like terrible service. That said, I’m curious, how did the other passengers pay more than you for the same seat (due to differential pricing?). Did they tell you how? OP please shame them in Twitter. If they wanted you to pay instead of confirming they could have asked you to pay. Tag few German and Indian newspapers too. They literally don’t give a flying duck sadly. They never refunded my money from a cancelled flight in 2020 and then left me behind last month at the Delhi airport where I had a connection despite weather and security delays..I had to pay my way back. I contacted them through Twitter and they said someone will contact me shortly. It’s only been 35 days. Lufthansa is a trash, racist airline. There have been far too many incidents of racism against desis on this airline. Never fly them again OP. I don’t know how this works in Canada, but you need to sue them (KLM nad Lufthansa) in small claims court. You need to access what the value of the denied bassinet was and claim it. You had exchanged money for a contract of carriage that the airline would transport you at a destined time with specific confirmed seats/class/facilities. That contract was not fulfilled by KLM/lufthansa. I can provide you templates for how to approach this if you were in SF, but the process would be different in Canada/toronto. Lookup the toronto small claims court filings and search for airlines as defendends and see how small claims against airlines were filed. Already filed a complaint with Lufthansa and will submit one with CTA as well as I started my journey from Canada.

I complained the Fireworks Director I Run You Run 4th Of July American Flag T-Shirt and I love this racism to their customer relations email and received 600€. Everyone needs to at least try this and push them for a response, threatening exposure on social media. Some money back won’t help much but still can lift a small burden. The racism was coupled with flight cancellations and long waiting times. They refused a lounge, made fun in German (which I understand), and were plain rude. A professional email to their customer team stating the following made ethem respond: PNR, The conversation in detail, Name of people involved if known, Screenshots and booking docs, Approx time and location of the incident (to trace the personnel), Subtle threat of posting on various media platforms. If you’re a person of colour, they’re going to treat you like garbage in that airport – I’ve been abused, snide comments about my ethnicity, I’ve watched them scream at black people and asian people. By contrast, Munich was surprisingly so much better that if I absolutely have to take Lufthansa, I have the stopover in Munich.
