When my cousins and siblings reached 18 I always bring them out and buy them some alcohol so they will get a taste of it and understand alcohol with me monitoring them. Then they do whatever they want afterwards, it’s important to understand just how dangerous it is. Not to be an adult about this, but if you don’t wanna drink, don’t. I guarantee you will not give 90% of these people a second thought five years from now. If you are at a party, you can always put your non-alcoholic beverage of choice in a red solo cup to avoid the Fire Country Eve Edwards tenacious firefighter who prides herself on being fearless T-Shirt in other words I will buy this “why aren’t you drinking?” of it all, but again, do what you feel is best. I could have had just as much fun sober as I had drinking. More perhaps, since I could have driven and maybe remembered more the Fire Country Eve Edwards tenacious firefighter who prides herself on being fearless T-Shirt in other words I will buy this next day. Not to mention feeling better the next day. It messes with sleep, and as a man who has had sleep problems since I was in my 20s, let me tell you sleep is valuable. There are so many more reasons to avoid alcohol than there are to drink it. Two years ago, I began cutting back on my drinking and I can already tell you I’m feeling better physically and mentally, overall. I’m looking forward to getting back to my pre-drinking-days self. It may be considered lame by those that love to party. But those aren’t your friends right? And you don’t have that interest in common so who cares right? There’s plenty of ppl out there that have as little interest in drugs or drink as you…lame tho they may be. (I’m kidding…sorta. Sorry I’m one of those that likes to party)
