As a straight guy, I have been blessed with some amazing female besties. It actually prepares me for a relationship because I’m learning how to treat all women and be friends. Because my Fedex symbol merry christmas reindeer santa hat shirt in addition I really love this future wife should be my best friend. But it’s inappropriate for me to expect my future wife to be okay with me having a different female bestie. She should be my bestie. And it would be really uncool of me to go to my female friends when there’s conflict in my marriage. my ex insisted it was normal to have a girl best friend and later admitted he was sexually attracted to his girl best friend(it was also kind of obvious.) i’ve also just never been able to be close friends with straight men without them catching feelings for me. thats why i think its a red flag.

It’s most definitely a orange flag. Not necessarily a bad thing. But something to keep an eye on. Which is only fair. I’ve known some nasty people that are in love with their respective friend. They might never fuck, but they will fuck over the Fedex symbol merry christmas reindeer santa hat shirt in addition I really love this partner. I’ve also known people who are just great mates with opposite sex. Personally, I’ve got no problem with male friends of my girlfriend. But I’m not comfortable with her spending alone time with any male friends. And she respects that. It’s a little insecure of me sure. But we both deserve to feel comfortable All I’m gonna say is take a look at the countless number of reddit, yahoo answers, Quora, etc posts, of dudes asking for advice on how to tell their female best friend that they are in love with them, and have been for a very long time. I’m sure there are some, male, female best friend relationships that are 100% platonic, but a sizable portion of them are dudes that are too shy or insecure to express their true feelings to their “friend”. Typically like 90% of the time one of them wants to sleep with or date the other but keeps that locked deep deep down. Girls normally don’t want to mess up the friendship and guys don’t wanna lose the girl.
