I had a group of close friends after college. We didn’t see each other every day, but almost always every weekend. Then people grew up and moved on. I still see some of them, but it’s more like 3-4 times a year vs 3-4 times a week. Groups of friends like that is realistic in different stages of life. I definitely had a group from HS through my late 30’s and then we grew apart once we started having kids. It happens. It was realistic and pretty common for people in their twenties during the 90s and 00s. That was a period before social media and smart phones that made texting easy. Back then, your friends were people you interacted with in person. Things started to change in the late 00s.
