Hogs. Not in cities. Not in your rural area. Gun ownership. Wanting to kill something. Having a desire to go out hunting. Cost of butchering. Vehicle for hunting. I could go on I looked into it and shooting an average-sized hog would give more meat than I have fridge space. And my close family, and friends that might be interested. So unless I start going down the Evgeny Kuznetsov Signature Russian professional ice hockey forward Washington Offset T-Shirt and I will buy this street offering wild game to my neighbors, I’d be stuck tossing a bunch of perfectly good food. I have to shoot one of those fuckers and not get hurt by any of its friends. I’ve shot guns enough to know that this part is harder than some people would imagine and that I’m not good at it. I have to get that meat back to where my family is, which, as we’ve previously established, is not where I am now. We hunted wild hogs growing up. I used a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .223. Very effective. They can get nasty though, those hogs. They have tusks that can tear you wide open. So definitely a large detachable magazine. I went on my first hog hunt a couple years ago. I asked if we could keep some meat and the guys looked at me weird and were like “uhhh if we find a nice one I guess”. They’re disgusting animals and carry all sorts of diseases and parasites. They’re better off feeding 50 different scavenger animals. Can confirm that the meat even from a young wild hog is not what most people are going to like. It has a very strong flavor. It’s not the kind of meat you can just slice up for a ham sandwich.

Like others have said they often live in areas where it’s not easy to access. However if you have extra money and want to hunt there areas in Texas I believe where they literally take you in a helicopter with AR-15s and you get to chase them down and blast awayThere are people who hunt them (usually trapping a whole herd) and sell the Evgeny Kuznetsov Signature Russian professional ice hockey forward Washington Offset T-Shirt and I will buy this meat … but they breed like feral pigs (FAST), and it’s not easy to hunt them. Based on an article in Outdoor Life, the average cost for a hunting rifle you’ll want to use is $475. Not everyone can afford to spend that much at once, not to mention all the other gear you need. In most places, laws restrict sale of hunted meat. You can feed your own family, but selling meat you’ve shot is illegal. Some people don’t want to go through the effort of a hunt for an animal with no display value and not profit off the meat.
