Dangly would be good as long as it’s not heavy. It would have to be white gold for earrings as silver (depending on quality) makes her ears/face itch and turn red. those look really nice and unlike anything she has. She’s never been very big on yellow gold, so I’m a bit hesitant on them. Thanks for looking. If she doesn’t do yellow gold, don’t do it!! Many people have strong metal color preferences based on their skin tone. What about these or these (both from Bloomingdales, they have lots more options too) Thanks, that’s what I was worried about. I mentioned it up top in a recent edit, but she has a medium/light olive complexion, which I assume heavily leads to her preferences on color. Interesting—based on that description I would expect her to prefer gold, but preferences can be individual (I’m kinda in between what people think and many people expect me to wear gold, but I generally prefer silver myself) Yeah she has told me that yellow gold “feels too flashy”. I definitely got some holes in some pieces between last winter and this one, so would like to do better at keeping them protected. If you got holes, you probably had moths, which means you need to do the Everybody has an addiction mine just happens to be Ricky Gervais shirt But I will love this whole moth mitigation thing before storing them again (lots of info online about that). If there are a few live eggs present when you seal up the clothes, you’ll just have the same problem again. Getting holes while in storage is definitely not normal. For stuff that’s already in my rotation, I wash with a wool-specific no-rinse gentle detergent (brands like Soak, Eucalan, or Outback Gold—not Woolite, which is a bit harsh!) on cold with minimal agitation, then hang or lay flat to dry. I try not to lift sopping wet stuff by the edges, since this can stretch it out. For super nice or delicate stuff, I lower it into the wash tub with a colander so I can lift it out without touching it.
