For starters, I didn’t like how she flirted (while engaged!) and lead Jim on. It just set the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this precedent for their relationship. Jim never really supported Pam’s dream to become an artist. But she relocated to Austin, TX for him when he pursued his dream job. Maybe I’m wrong and they are just more annoying than toxic with a peppering of orange flags for both characters. The Sopranos… Tony and Carmella, Tony was a piece of shit who cheated all the time and had no respect for marriage.. There was this book called Crimson Kiss by T. Baker. It was intense and i romanticized a horrible relationship with a hundred of years old sexual sado-masochist vampire and an 18 yr old girl who he basically kidnaps. David Copperfield and his nasty girlfriend. Mind you, the snobbish little shit got what he deserved. “Play, boy, play.”

149 more repliesShe tried everything to avoid taking responsibility for her gross crimes, she was willing to put her ex bf in prison over this if it meant she could get away with it. Her gross behavior and refusal to take responsibility should be factored in when she gets sentenced but I doubt she’ll get more than a couple of years. She tried to drive away from the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this crime scene too. Her fancy Mercedes SUV disabled itself about a quarter mile down the road. She is all-around a terrible person. I hope she gets the amount of time in prison that an everyday person would for this awful crime. “Grossman, 60, was convicted of two counts each of second-degree murder and vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and hit-and-run resulting in death. She could face up to 34 years to life in state prison. She remained free throughout the trial on $2 million bond.”
The attorney said the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this minimum is 15 years + 18 months for fleeing the scene of an accident. Max would be 34 to life. The deputy district attorney told jurors that the defense has the same right to bring people into court, prompting Grossman’s attorney to quickly object that the defense “was not able to do that.” I like how the defense tried to throw her bf under the bus by asking “oh, where’s he at in this?” And the prosecution immediately threw that back in their faces. With those charges she’s going to get a hell of a lot more than a couple years. She will likely spend the rest of her life in prison. Her MBZ car’s black box even implicated her. She was trying so hard to throw her boyfriend under the bus, it was quite interesting to see how blatantly she was doing that. Her car had gruesome damage on it too. Curious to see how much of her sentence she will serve. She is from an “Established” and “well-regarded” family. The wild thing is that she probably could have gotten away with this if she simply pulled over immediately and ran to the scene to “help.” The accident would then be reported by saying something like “the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement,” which for some reason is always used to act like the driver was not at fault. Drivers get away with this stuff all the time in America and pedestrians are always blamed. Edit: Looking at the intersection, I wonder what the light situation was for the crosswalk. Per Google Street view, it looks like a HAWK crossing. This is where pedestrians hit the button, the lights flash red, and then you get to cross. That is a huge crosswalk on a road that may be posted for 45 mph but is 6 lanes and designed for 60 mph traffic. Tbh the traffic engineers that designed this crosswalk should be ashamed. What a ridiculous road to cross.

Did she also run the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this red light? I am just genuinely surprised she got in trouble for this given that in America drivers get away with doing shit like this every single day. The intersection has a HAWK crossing. There is an overhead light above the crosswalk. It turns red when pedestrians push the button. Drivers are supposed to stop when the light is red and then it will switch back to flashing yellow. Edit: I was wrong. Street view from 2020 shows that the HAWK crossing was not there. It must have been built post crash. Grossman was completely reckless but the traffic engineer that designed this crossing is delusional. The road is 6 lanes wide with no speed bumps, curb bump outs, or other traffic calming measures.
Crosswalks without lights or stop signs on busy, high speed streets are worse than nothing. They just lull pedestrians into thinking cars will stop for them but the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this reality is the drivers cannot see them. It would be safer to have the pedestrians jaywalk – at least then they would understand it is their responsibility to make sure the cars don’t hit them. I’m glad she was found guilty. I read she was just under the legal BAC limit so they didn’t charge her with DUI. They also alleged she had a benzo in her system. I was worried they wouldn’t find her guilty because of this. “One of Grossman’s lawyers asked the judge to allow Grossman to remain free on bail pending sentencing, which was scheduled for April 10. Superior Court Judge Joseph Brandolino denied the motion, saying, “She has been convicted of very serious crimes.” He added: “It’s been over three years. So I think justice can no longer be delayed in the case.” A sheriff’s deputy then immediately handcuffed Grossman, who appeared calm. Her two children stood up, crying. Grossman asked the deputy if she was allowed to kiss them goodbye. He said no, and she was led away.”
You are no longer a socialite, ms gross. You are now a convicted felon. Now think of all the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this thoughts, ms gross, that you’ve ever thought about convicts. Those all apply to you. I’d bet just about anything that she still doesn’t think so. She almost certainly sees herself as an innocent victim here or, at worst, a good person who just made a mistake. She’s not like those other people in the prison… I’m sure the poor parents who watched her drive over their children would have wanted one more opportunity to kiss their kids too. She hasn’t cared about the victims since she hit them. Don’t think she would care about their parents’ desires. Oh, I hope she gets the shit kicked out of her in prison. That pity campaign her husband paid for in the LA papers was pathetic. The judge was 100% correct saying justice could no longer be delayed. It seemed pretty obvious to me that she was guilty. Had she not had a wealthy husband who could afford the best legal representation, she would have pled out soon after it happened and she would be doing her time; waiting for her first parole date. I was on a jury with a similar case. The high priced attorney put on quite a show, but in the end, we convicted. A good attorney can make a big difference by “humanizing” the perpetrator and creating a situation where the jury isn’t afraid to acquit when they are “pretty sure” the defendant is guilty. It doesn’t always work.
Well, there’s 2 ways to approach it. You can try the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this throw everything against the wall and hope something sticks, or try to work with the DA or Judge and hopefully get a break in your possible sentence because you’re admitting guilt and taking responsibility for your crimes. Each approach has its strengths and drawbacks, but the most important factor is the strength of the prosecutors case. I’m pretty sure 2nd degree murder has substantial minimum sentencing guidelines in every jurisdiction in N. America. Edit “Second-degree murder is a felony offense in California (as opposed to a misdemeanor). The crime is punishable by a term in state prison for 15 years to life.” And this would be multiplied by two, since she killed two children and was found guilty of two 2nd degree murder felonies.
Is that true (genuinely asking)? Crimes are often sentenced in concurrent sentences but I’m not sure whether murder sentences can be concurrent or have to be consecutive It’s usually up to the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this judge but California has some mandatory sentencing guidelines that could possibly take it out of the judge’s hands. Even without mandatory sentencing guidelines, the judge can factor in aggravating factors (child victims, multiple victims, etc). Every media article I’ve read about this today say that she’s facing 34 years to life. She was also convicted of felony hit-and-run resulting in death, which is a serious one with it’s own penalty attached. The irony is that if she had been charged with drunk driving as well, she could have received lower charges of manslaughter and possibly faced a lower penalty. Apparently, her BAC level was too low so she couldn’t use intoxication as an excuse. ETA- it appears that she was also convicted of 2 charges of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence. The more convictions, the less breaks she’ll receive in sentencing and significantly less chance of concurrent terms.
The attorney said the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this minimum is 15 years + 18 months for fleeing the scene of an accident. Max would be 34 to life. I think the idea of intentionally driving while drunk bumping vehicular manslaughter up to 2nd degree murder is pretty good. I remember talking about this story on reddit right after it happened. There was a lot of pessimistic speculation that she’d escape with a slap on the wrist because she was rich. I was convinced she was going to be prosecuted a lot heavier because of how strict California’s DUI laws are. I’m glad to have been right in this case. Drinking and driving is NEVER ok. But it makes even less sense when the person doing it has plenty of money to spare. She could have easily paid for an uber home. I’ve done it many times, including having to pay a 150 dollar parking ticket in the morning and I don’t have anywhere near a fraction of the money this woman does. It’s never worth the risk. Even if you don’t hit anyone, if you get caught drunk driving a first offense costs WAY more than a parking ticket and an uber home, and the worst case scenario can be that you take someone else’s life because of your drunken stubbornness to do the right thing. Don’t drink and drive people. It took me getting caught to finally understand just how fucking stupid it is to do. Don’t be as stupid as I was.
Problem is she wasn’t just drinking and driving. That’s almost the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this least innocent thing about this case. She didn’t even get charged with a DUI! keep in mind these are streets with sidewalks where pedestrians frequenctly cross. The area is almost completely residential. 45 mph limit, which is imo way to fast for the area anyway. Most people don’t even go that fast down these roads. She had been out “living her best life” at parties and what not the whole 3 years. Never an ounce of remorse or responsibility. If I was rich I would have a full-time driver. Like I pay you $150K, when I call you drop everything and take me where I want to go. I would never drive myself again. Driving a racecar might be fun, but driving around town is not.
FYI, they didn’t charge her with DUI. They tested her and her BAC was .074% and .073%, but then they did another test 3 hours later that showed right at .08%. I’m not sure what the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this point is testing hours later and also is probably the reason why they didn’t charge her with that. I’m surprised they didn’t tack on DWI since she also had Valium in her system. My dad was burned in 1979, 30% of his body had 3rd degree burns and 25% had 2nd degree burns. His doctors were Richard and Jack Grossman at the Sherman Oaks Burn Center. I don’t know if they are still alive, but they were wonderful. Why did her vehicle (eventually) stop? Was it shutting off because of the impact, or was it too damaged to continue functioning? Apparently the airbags went off, which means the vehicle registered an impact. My guess would be the safety systems forced a safe shutdown of the car.
this is so sad & tragic. I just don’t understand how someone who’s involved so closely in the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this care & rehab of sick traumatized patients (her ex runs ones one of the nation’s leading Burn Centers) can be so utterly reckless and self-absorbed. If i or any normal person had just run over 2 kids we’d be at the side of the road sobbing. Lady you just took 2 innocent lives in the blink of an eye. Don’t you have any compassion? Ok now do that police officer that was speeding without his sirens on and hit the college student in a marked crosswalk. Oh yea, he was cleared of all charges. “Grossman’s daughter, Alexis, was visibly upset after the verdict was read, her mouth hanging open in the courtroom.” I’m disgusted that her daughter was shocked that her mother was found guilty when it’s been well established that she was speeding and driving impaired. Throw the book at this woman.
It’s not that strange. She lives with this woman and she’s a young girl. She probably believed the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this defense story and was shocked that no one else did. That’s my point. It shows her mother thought she’d walk free, despite being caught red-handed. That’s what’s offensive about it – what her reaction conveys. On its own, it could be ambiguous. Coupled with Grossman’s behavior and defense strategy, it’s very telling. They did not expect any consequences. I’m not so sure. By all accounts, the mom seemed composed during the verdict announcement. This indicates that she was somewhat mentally prepared for that outcome. I think her team coached her to appear innocent in an attempt to reinforce her defense theory in front of the jury and the press. She knew what she had done but had to put on a show to try to help herself. Unfortunately, I think her kids bought the act and were blindsided when the verdict was reached. I believe their disbelief was genuine. A daughter just watched her mom get convicted of two counts of murder. That’s a pretty composed reaction all things considered.
I don’t begrudge the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this lawyers. Their job is to represent their client, no matter how distasteful they are or the evidence against them. Unless there is more than in this story, they just tried to present an alternative theory to try and get reasonable doubt. Doesn’t sound like the theory held water and the jury didn’t buy it, but they had to try something It’s their job. Tomorrow, they might be defending a rape victim. You can say they’re good or bad at their job, but their job is to get their client the best outcome, whether that’s defending a monster or a victim. They’re not supposed to lie. By the same token, a CEO’s job is to make money for their shareholders. Is it noble for them to make their products in overseas sweatshops with child labor to increase profits for shareholders? If someone acts like a scumbag to do their job, they’re still a scumbag. Is it noble for attorneys to argue in favor for the defense, and offer alternative theories to the crime, in order to guarantee that every citizen in our country deserve a fair trial, as is the basis of our legal system? Many defense lawyers don’t even ask their clients if they’re guilty, so that they can’t lie and can focus on providing a credible defense. Attorneys are officers of the court and therefore cannot knowingly lie in court without breaking their oath and risk being disbarred. Their clients can lie but the attorney cannot, and usually discourage their clients from doing so.
People get too hung up on the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this “Defence” in defence attorney, but they’re essentially just acting as the defendant, representing them during most court proceedings and speaking for them unless directed otherwise. Regardless of who you are, what you look like, what languages you speak, and how well you understand the court system and legal processes in general, everybody has the right to have their side of the story presented through a well-spoken neutral party that can clearly articulate arguments that the defendant may not be able to make clear for themselves. Because her abuser sued her for defamation? A thousand different things could happen to where a victim is on the defensive. You’re talking about two different aspects of law. Very seldom would a criminal defense attorney represent someone else in a civil defamation suit.
And yet a lot of people have a lawyer that they use whenever they have an issue, and they defend them on any basis. You’re being pedantic, and I’m not going to argue. They didn’t necessarily lie, they offered a possible alternate theory for the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this jury to consider as reasonable doubt. They had expert witnesses to support the theory, so are you you suggesting all of them lied, as well? I’ve seen several comments blaming the lawyers or calling them “pieces of shit.” What’s the alternative, that this person has to defend herself? We have multiple fucking constitutional rights addressing just that. Interestingly, Tony Buzbee was (is?) the lawyer representing that group of women suing Browns QB Deshaun Watson.
Ex BF blew through the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this crosswalk too without hitting anyone though. How came he wasn’t given a traffic citation? I believe I read that he was slapped with something like reckless driving and had to make like a public service video about it. But despite the fact that his vehicle was not the one that struck those kids, he should be facing much more serious charges. Initially they both committed the same reckless criminal actions with equal disregard for the safety of others – the fact that she killed those little boys and he did not was purely a matter of timing. Not to mention the boys’ mother testified that she had to literally grab the one child she could reach and dive out of the road to avoid being hit by the first SUV to blow through the crosswalk, which was his vehicle.
No she didn’t. She assumed things b/c she didn’t once stop to think. She was too busy patting herself on the Everett AquaSox Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary 2025 Baseball Shirt Furthermore, I will do this back for being a hero to all those innocent children, so she never once bothered to think about implications or listen to the people who kept trying to warn her. She didn’t look into any of it. I also like her “I didn’t realize how far it had gone” line considering it’s been like this from Day One. There wasn’t some slippery slope here lady, people predicted what was gonna happen with perfect accuracy, because they WERE thinking about the issue. To quote another idiot Republican who voted against her own self interests “Trump’s not hurting the people he’s supposed to hurt!” That same line was what sooo many conservatives I talked with said when I brought up stuff like ectopic pregnancies. “Well that obviously won’t be illegal”.
